Welcome to Frederikssund Gymnasium

Frederikssund Gymnasium is a Danish gymnasium with approximately 450 students attending one of three different school programmes: STX, HF and HTX. The three forms differ in terms of preparing the students for either university programs or professional bachelor’s programmes . The gymnasium was built between 1970-1973 and opened in 1973. Our gymnasium has many well-kept traditions, and it is rather small compared to other Danish gymnasiums. However, the size of the school is also to its advantage, as the school value close relations, both among teachers and students, to help improve the students’ level of education.
